I've been transfering all my prince music videos I tape on VHS to DVD now but it made me wonder some things. Why was "when doves cry" not included on his videos hits vhs/dvd???? Why not make vol. 2 and but more videos on it like Automatic, America,Sexuality, all they way up to his latest video somewhere here on Earth. Last don't you wish he made a real video for "Let's go crazy" and not just clips from the movie (don't even get me started with other fake videos such as "when 2 r in love" "Sign o' the times" and "Paisley Park")

I'm asuming there was the plan at some stage to release a Hits Vol.2 VHS, but it probably went belly-up when Prince left Warner Bros. Similarly, WB don't own "Somewhere Here On Earth", and it's very unlikely Prince would allow them to use it (or any Prince clip post-1996)

When Doves Cry is on the 20th Anniversary Purple Rain amongst other "videos". Mountains etc are on Under the Cherry Moon DVD as extras. Hell I would imagine WB want us fans to buy each DVD release to get as much of our cash as possible!!

As far as I remember, for the Hits release in 93': two video tapes were scheduled (one with "When Doves Cry"). Can someone confirm it???

i was wondering how many concert and video dvds he has? i just got the musicology tour in la, live in vegas, rave Are there any more I should know about? i love to watch him perform!!!! i know i have to buy sign o the times, the purple rain tour, and cherry moon but i have got to be missing something?

I have all the videos in full lenght on dvd all the way up to 3121. Just have to get the Verizon clip of Guitar, Chelsea Rogers and SHOE and I'll be all caught up.
