America - The Video I just watched this video on VH1.com and man, it is SLAMMIN! I think the last time I saw this was back in 85 on MTV. The Revolution was rockin the SH*T out of this one that is for sure.

Ahhhh man I love this video soooo much! The Revolution were amazing as always, and Prince was clearly having a great time.
Best moments in the video for me: Prince playing the drums Throwing copies of the record into the crowd (would never be allowed with today's health and safety laws, the edges of those vinyl records coule slice someone's head in two!) "Thank you.....get going!" Someone in the crowd getting his coat and his security going in to get it back! Every shot of Wendy feeling the funk Lisa's outfit Eric Leeds and Eddie M trying to outdo each other | |

the one thing that has always been skeptical 2 me is the actual length of this video..some say 10 mins some say it's longer than that. I have never seen it longer than 10 mins. if someone has any more detail, please orgnote me about it.thanks

It's good but's not NEAR had hot as the video version...which I just learned on this thread is about 10 minutes long...I've only seen the short version. Prince should release this as a download. Its obvious we all agree that its THE BEST version of this song. | |
