Chanhassen has grown rapidly and what used to be a nice and quiet neighborhood is now a threat to his privacy (music related or not). Prince hasn't given any concert since February 2006(the afterparty following Tamar's concert with the Dr. Mambo) If he has, please forgive my not knowing of any other event since the later date. What do you think?. I remember going there when I was young in 1987 and there was nothing but PP, his house and corn fields...go there now...wow. I was surprised when I went there in 2001 because of everything around...I thought I was lost.... And trust me from 2001 to now, there has been even more changes. You wouldn't recognize the place.

I live down here now and I was out there about 8 months ago and it keeps growing. I know he is glad he put up such a large/long fence. I forgot to mention that back in the day the other thing out there was a log house right before his property (fence) started. I think that is gone now...nothing but big homes and town homes everywhere. I wonder how he fells about that..... I remember Prince's driveway was dirt and the security house was the size of maybe two out houses. The guy looked like a college student sitting in there. He let me look at the security cameras and a few of them were showing inside the house. I can't remember anything because I was in 5th grade ('88 - I believe that was the summer I went to LoveSexy). Boy do I envy you. I live in Chicago and I was in 7th grade during the LoveSexy tour and my parents wouldn't let me go because they thought I was "too young." My older brother went and talked about it for days - Prince, Sheila, Cat, the car and basketball hoop. Man, I was sick to my stomach. The only good thing about it was that I vowed to never miss another Prince concert in Chicago again. And I haven't missed a Prince show in Chicago since he returned in 1993 - that was my senior year of high school and I went to my first Prince concert instead of prom. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

I remember my parents and I were visiting my mom's friend down here. We were walking around downtown and there was a music store with a sign in the window "tickets for sell." My dad told my mom's friend "I'll buy the tickets if you take him." It was cool, the lady I went with snuck the camera in under her skirt. The person at the photo lab hooked us up with some professional photos because some other folks (maybe from the paper or something) was getting their pictures developed there. It was a nice memory because my father passed away a few years ago... I still have the pic's.... Prime aka The Kid

You know how it is...you want to hang with the girls and kick w/ the boys... The great concerts and fun stuff we also did.... PLUS .. my father would still be here... Prime aka The Kid

Some clubs have Prince themed nights, I'm not sure which. Have fun. must b around Morgan st man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
