I just bought Rave In2 from the NPGonline and,, I don't know if I made the right choice or not  Was it a bad idea buying this thang??

I prefer 'Rave In2 The Joy Fantasic' to the released version. Here's the tracklist in full;
1. Rave In2 The Joy Fantasic (5:14) (completely different recording, an upbeat fast dance track) 2. Undisputed (The Moneyopolis Mix) (5:45) (Not radically different to the original, but somehow much better) 3. The Greatest Romance Ever Sold (8:09) (Extended version, includes parts from the Adam & Eve mix, very good) 4. Hot Wit U (Nasty Girl Remix) (4:23) (includes the melody and lyrics from Vanity 6's 'Nasty Girl', works very well) 5. Tangerine (2:13) (slightly longer version) 6. So Far, So Pleased (3:24) (same as on 'Rave Un2') 7. The Sun, The Moon And Stars (5:17) (same as on 'Rave Un2') 8. Man'O'War (Remix) (5:12) (again I prefer this version to the original) 9. Baby Knows (3:52) (has an extended outro section, like the sorta thing he does live) 10.  Love U, But Don't Trust U Anymore (3:33)
(same as on 'Rave Un2') 11. Beautiful Strange (4:55) (slightly different version to the one used on the 'Beautiful Strange' video) 12. Silly Game (3:29) (same as on 'Rave Un2') 13. Wherever U Go, Whatever U Do (3:15) (same as on 'Rave Un2') 14. Holla No man! it's not a bad choice... the remix of Rave is very (I MEAN VERY) poor, but the rest is really okay... a long version of Greatest Romance and The Nasty Girl-remix of Hot With U is also worth it... and of course... Beautiful Strange... it's definetely no waste of money... trust me | |

Jury's still out on that one. The version on Rave is basically the same, but with an extra distorted Guitar line over the top. The original video version seemed to have a bit more of a jazzy laid back feel. A lot of people prefer it, but there's not much in it in my opinion. the in2 version of rave is pretty much a completists item. if they didn't include it as a part of npgmc membership, i'd be hard pressed to buy it. i probably would have broken down and bought it, but, i would have been hard pressed to do so, none the less. ------------------------------------------------

I dont c whats wrong with the original release of Rave i love the album,maybe cos its only the 2nd Prince c i bought & it was summer & i was just feelin it heaps,it has a very summer vibe-ish kinda sound,the ballads & the stuff like "baby knows" & "hot wit u"
I havent heard this other version,i have got "Nasty Girl (hot wit u)" & "greatest romance (adam & eve)" Also,is "Beautiful Strange" a version of or a different name 4 "strange but true" ??? ***************************************************************************************
