[...]My goodness. What a night. We wish we could say we managed to get some sleep, but truth be told, we just wandered back in, having spent the last eight hours or so partying at Prince's new mansion--a stunning, 48-room villa he had constructed out of a rare purple travertine found only in Madagascar, which the Demonschlonged One had air-lifted and dropped at its current address of 3121 Mulholland Dr.[...] 48 rooms?! i want to play hide n seek in that house lol

according to bossip.com prince performed with stevie and diddy. But what mostly caught my attention is this part : Despite the FACT that he will have to undergo surgery to replace his hip. So it's a fact now?

From USA Today...
Though he'd promised John he would perform, Prince failed to take the stage, disappointing many who'd been looking forward to the performance. Earlier in the evening, Furnish explained, "Elton's been on stage with Prince in Vegas and London. They have such mutual respect for each other as artists. He's going to perform at our party and then we're going to his later." The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

So, where did the super A-listers end the night? Sounds like that would be Prince's party at Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. I'm told things didn't die down until 6 a.m.! Who was there? Madonna, Guy Ritchie, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Penélope Cruz, Orlando Bloom, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Queen Latifah, Chris Tucker, Djimon Hounsou, Sean Penn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling, Adam Levine, Josh Hartnett, Helena Christensen, Kimora Lee Simmons, Tyrese, Doug E. Fresh, Brett Ratner, Andre Harrell and Guy Oseary. http://www.eonline.com/go...455cc88274 Madonna was there? I thought she had her own Oscar party? I guess she realized Prince's was the better one and said "Oh fuck it" and gave up!

Every time I log on here,
I always feel like we're engaging in our very own Prince post-Oscar afterparty. So if that night felt anything like it feels around, then I'm sure that it was quite a lovely affair. Oh, and I'm sure that all the losers that night felt the same way we do here: that it's an honor just to be nominated.

So I just watched Entertainment Tonight for their 'exclusive' Prince after party segment: What a joke! A full 10 seconds worth of half second shots of B-listers like diddy arriving in the dark (and the retarded looking bruce and demi offspring) - what a pointless waste of time - then the next 5 minutes is taken up by some faggy Streisand looking tranny by the name of kojo (shouldn't that be Dildo) sarcastically judging the actresses dresses (hey dude, at least they know what sex they are!). Zero substance (apart from the coke in the tranny's nose).
How the fuck can they call this shit exclusive - no prince, no party, just people arriving... zero credibility that program has. No wonder i stopped watching crap tv like this years ago...

So if the hip replacement rumor is *finally* true does that lend credence to the Scientology rumors? Or at least mean he may be ditching the JW's? (Because of the whole blood transfusion issue...or would hip replacement not require that....)

And you really expect anything other than sickly sweet sugar coating? Zero substance and no real questions. Like they'll ask any worthwhile questions... But then I guess it's the proper platform for Obama and Hillary, after all they are nothing more than actors and complete charlatans. Judas sheep leading the brainwashed masses to the slaughterhouse Just sweet fake yogurt for the gullible to lap up. Yeah, that's so ...

So which is it, was the party at his house or at Teddy's???? Even Eonline is contradicting themselves one link says it's at P's house and the other says it's Teddy's which is where he performed during the summer. Besides, I don't see him allowing Kevin Frasier and E to be posted up outside his house. I met Kevin and his wife at one of the shows at Teddy's, nice guy. [Edited 2/25/08 17:46pm]

Unlike yourself I'll do the logical thing and judge the interview AFTER I've seen it. I've never been one for knee jerk, reactionary, emotional screeds and would advise you to direct yours elsewhere in the future. It's that he's doing yet another interview because I want to know everything I can about the candidates from a variety of perspectives. What a person avoids discussing can be as revealing as what they choose to talk about. So if it's okay with you I'm looking forward to the interview...I expect it might be a damn shot more interesting than some vapid celeb parties and sightings. Any more questions? Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.
