Shy Prince hiding in corner at Mark Ronson club night

http://www.mirror.co.uk/s...-20315648/

DJ Mark Ronson has plenty of cool folk to call up for a party - so we hope we didn't ruin things by scaring off his top A-lister.

Spotting a sheepish Prince in the corner of Teddy's at the Roosevelt, we bowled over for a chat. But after we pounced on the baffled midget with a camera, he threw a strop and marched off.

His Purpleness was checking out the club for a gig. A source said: "He was so discreet Mark didn't even know he was there." And now he never will...

It's so funny to me that these so called photographers want to take his picture and as soon as he doesn't let them they start the name calling. They need to grow up. I'm glad he doesn't let some guy he doesn't know take his photo especially when he's trying to be discreet.

Good God! I disagree....He needs to get over 'People taking his picture' - he's famous for gods sake...that is one of the high prices you pay for fame....I agree its an intrusion, but it goes with the territory!!!!!

Sad, but true. Unless he wants to pull a Brian Wilson move and be a recluse for the next thirty years , he should have realized by now that PAPZ will take a picture of him whereever he goes, whether or not he's relevent to the new breed.

Now I agree that if you choose that road then don't trip if I want a picture or an autograph. But there has to be a line...what they are doing to Brit is crazy and I am sure it gets a little annoying. When will it stop...does it take death before we look up and say dang lets leave these folks alone. Being nice to the fans and taking time out of your day for us is the "price" they must pay but not having some nut job hang in a tree and snap photos of you and your kids or wife or friends hanging out / eating.

To be honest...they don't have to do jack...

Come on

Prime i agree and there should be a line - and until there is a line, there aint nothing celebs can do - well there is, let them take your photo over and over until they dont find you interesting anymore than they leave you alone - you can see that with plenty o stars today...you threaten the paps, you annoy or refuse them, it just makes the situation worse...Brit is sad, but to be honest I think its more her bizarre behaviour (regardless of the paps) that makes her story even worse - think she is to blame for a good percentage of her downfall .....

This whole thread is ridiculous.

It is ANYONE's right 2 ask not 2 be photographed.

Prince has put his life into music, and giving us decades of his music, and we have 2 argue about whether or not he has the right 2 refuse a photo??

Plus... there R plenty of times where he has let the photogs shoot him... even waved and smiled 2 the camera.

He does have a right 2 privacy.

Oh I agree Gio, but good luck getting the paps to agree with that sort of request some paps thrive on a refusal - makes them want it even more. Everyone does have a right to privacy, but unfortunately for some this is less possible if they've attained celebrity status - its just reality.

I see where you are coming from, he cant do things like go to premieres with twins on his arm inviting attention and then say no other times... Or can he...? I think he can. If he doesn't mind the bad press he gets for saying no and he gets his way and they leave him alone then maybe he prefers that and it is his life after all.

you are right - everyone has the right not to be photographed - when i am abroad if i want to take photos of people i ask them first - otherwise it is an intrusion whether or or not you are famous

he never started playing music to be famous and never liked fame when it came so why should he start now?

he's not an object, he's a person. who, like anyone else with dignity, doesnt like his space being mindlessly invaded by selfish people who only care for what they can get and never what they can give.

p isnt wrong, he just finds it hard to accept that those people dont have souls. it's a frightening reality to the pure-hearted for whom peace and respect is normal and anything less is a nightmare.

in my opinion, he does them a favor by alerting them to the outright stupidness of their ways.

he could always move to London - i'm sure he would have a (slightly) more civilised time

functions like awards and he walks up the red carpet by all means take his picture thats to be expected, but sitting in a club minding his own they should just leave him alone the same for any famous person they need privacy and time out like any normal person.

Very true.

I was referring more 2 people arguing about whether it's right or not 4 him 2 refuse the photogs.

Also... those being critical of Prince refusing the photogs should think about how some celebrities go completely apeshit, and curse, threaten, beat, and chase photogs.

It must be awful just stepping out and getting harrassed for a photo everytime you do.

I may be wrong but he seemed so much more calm and happy, even confident while he was married.... I'm sure that helps having someone to confide in and being a couple....he smiled soooo much during the Musicology tour...and the tour seemed more relaxed....he seemed so comfortable with the crowd.....it has to be very different for him now....he seems to be "performing" more now. Just my opinion....
