Laura LiPuma's name is linked to the greatest of all Prince albums as art designer, from Purple Rain to Lovesexy, giving form to Prince's cover art fantasies.
She also did art design for sleeves like Sheila E and The Family; all iconic in the Prince universe. Probably also Madhouse, in cohort with Margo Chase (fonts), but that album lacks proper credits, so I have to guess.

Jeff Katz was also lucky to work with Prince at his artistic peak; back when Prince still used his image to sell an album. Parade, the Sign O The Times sleeve pictures and tourbook, the Lovesexy tourbook. Need I say more? He made some of the most iconic pictures of Prince in the era I like best musically AND visually.

So I want to pay tribute to these people, as they visualised Prince's ideas into something that makes me yearn for vinyl album releases, when every album would have fonts designed my Margo Chase and everything was so damn' special.
A certain style I miss in Prince's unbelievably silly art-design these days'computerised and sterile, like his music; unimaginative.
