Just a thought . . . i've never understood why folks get their panties in a bunch when gossip on a celebrity is shared. so someone told an inaccurate story. big wooo... First, my panties are not in a bunch. And I don't have a problem with reporting gossip. All I'm suggesting is that folks not be sheep and to possibly question or consider the source of a sudden update to this story. Not Jseven necessarily, but rather the possibility that the subject of the story is pulling strings again, like always. That's all. I really don't care, I'm just saying.

Yeah, take everything you read in the NY Post with a grain of salt, which I say all the time. Too bad your boy Prince didn't call you so you could have given us all the heads up that he wasn't at the party. Lol....I'm OUT of the Prince news business. [Edited 2/5/08 8:39am]

Ha ha ha,
As if it matters! I am a JW and I have handled birthday, christmas, easter issues etc most of my life, sometimes well, sometimes not. It's extremely difficult especially when you have non-JW friends who are celebrating and you are happy for them. If Prince was there then he has to resolve that one himself - between him and Jehovah. If he wasn't then we don't need to talk about it. Incidentally I kissed 100 boys under the mistletoe one christmas when I was at school, extremely naughty for a young JW but great fun! I didn't get "ex-communicated"! Just a little chat about just how sensible an idea it was, and a reminder of the reasons behind our decision not to celebrate, so I could make up my mind for future choices. Being a JW is not like being in a prison camp, rules are not inforced just for the sake of it or to break our will to live. We have made a choice to live a certain way and we all try our best to help each other keep to that choice for as long as we want to, despite hiccups, glitches and mistakes. When we no longer want to then that's our choice too. Anyway, I wonder what Prince would think about this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pri...dZViewItem Tee hee!

I believe there are about 10 copies of a Japanase pressing of the Tamar album that 'escaped.' Not sure about the sample set...I don't think it was released, but I think it is circulating Does that mean that whom ever put out that specific info was lying?
That depends on what they knew when they put out the info. If they put it out knowing it would never happen, then yes, I consider that lying. The difference between the examples you used and your specific situation/history here is that none of the stuff you've ever specifically 'predicted' has been proven to exist let alone happen. With the sample set & Tamar album, we know that it actually exists. And, more importantly, you post all sorts of cryptic, cagey messages and then never answer pointed questions, provide links, back up, etc. You have never proven that you ever were "in the know." People here and at HQ who are known to provide reliable info are more straightforward. That doesn't mean telling all the secrets, it means not dicking people around. It means saying, "Hey I heard this was supposed to happen. Not sure if it will, but that's what I heard." If it happens, people take note and eventually you build up a reputation as being trustworthy or 'in the know', but if you're wrong in that situation, as least you were honest. You never admitted that you were wrong, or got bad info, or didn't really know what the hell you were talking about.

U mean like the London gig? W&L om Planet Earth? PE being a rock/pop joint? No, I mean like you posting that the first line of the first song of PE would be "Dance the dance electric" and all the stuff on this thread...you know, where you said the first gigs would be in July 06 and implied Wendy, Lisa, BrownMark, & Sheila would be on said tour, that the band he most recently used in London was only a Tamar backing band, etc. etc. Your response is exactly I'm talking about when I say "dicking people around." Give it up, just accept that you were wrong and admit it. I think people would respect that more than having you continually pretend that you are an "insider." You're like the captain who refuses to leave a sinking ship, maybe you think it's valiant, but at some point don't you want cut your losses and save yourself, too? I'm done responding to you because you'll never "man up" and this conversation is OT to the original thread topic.
