Have you ever bought (or was given) a Prince album in which you hated but then wound up in with?
Or did U just remain hating it?

The Prince album that I hated @ 1st but now is (yeh yeh yeh) "Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic" & the 1 I cannot stand is "Emancipation"

Chaos and Disorder gives me a headache and I would never willingly put on For You.

My girlfirend at the time bought me The Vault for my Birthday...I was 19 or 20. She had just learned I was a Prince fanatic...so she bought the latest Prince album.

Just didn't dig it at first...then...I found myself practicing my Sax, and I couldn't get this 16th note run for the life of me. I played every note on beat, yet it wasn't the proper style. I grew frustrated with myself like many musicians do.

I put in 'The Vault' and listened. After awhile, it became sort of a reference book for style...I grew to love the album. Jazzy!
