Purple Rain...
I don't usually vote in these things, but as great as the guitar solo is, it kinda sounds like "Faithfully" by Journey. Just listen to that old song again...Not to mention,that Prince started raping it on the SOTT tour, by editing out the lyrics.. Still it's a great song,but 1999 was the first song to sound like that...and nothing ever sounded like SOTT, and nothing ever will. | |

you all letting this emotional shit affect your votes... purple rain is such a blan song really. sure its great, its prince, but its not that great a song ... 1999 is so innovative, purple rain is just another anthemic ballad like a million others ... and remember this is JUST TITLE TRACK not album....
