they have to stick to a rough playlist. but chris moyles plays a real weird variety. sometimes he goes into a medley of tv themes from the 70's!!! lol

Maybe i shouldn't have mentioned 'the saviour of radio one' in this topic, it seems to have over shadowed the actual point!!!
lol

To be honest, the only time Prince would be played at the moment is on a Friday morning in The Golden hour.....

i just get fed up with the lack of interest for such a long standing artist like Prince... Am i just being naive or what???? duh

Never mind though!!!!

The one good thing that has come out of this, is that i have had the most responses to one of my topics... excited

Well, I think some of that is to do with the way he markets (or doesn't market!) his music - it all seems a bit haphazard (but he seems to be quite happy with it) so I don't know! confused

Yeah, they were No.10 in the download chart on Sunday!! I Love that song too!

Also, in the Mail on Sunday magazine, there was an article about 4 of the top Night Clubs in London, (where all the top celebs and Prince Harry and William go, for those in the US) Boujis, Mahiki, Chinawhite and Kensington Gdns Rooftop.

The top playlists from Boujis and Mahiki included Prince - Alphabet Street (Boujis) and Kiss (Mahiki). Actually, the playlist from Mahiki was brilliant, made me feel like getting my dancing shoes on!! lol

This is the playlist: Superstition - Stevie Wonder, Sex Machine - James Brown, Rock the Casbah - The Clash, I want you Back - Jackson 5, Everyday People - Arrested Development, Groove is in the Heart - Deee-Lite, Billie Jean - Michael Jackson, Kiss - Prince, Respect - Aretha Franklin, Nine to Five - Dolly Parton.
