I'm not sure under which rock you've hidden, but there was a trial and he was found "NOT GUILTY"! Apparantly that's all people need to know! PanicAttack said: If I'm not mistaken, QUINCY JONES no longer wants ANYTHING to do with MJ. He brushes him off every chance he gets. Well, unfortunately you're again severely mistaken! And as for him not touring in the past 10 years... well, unlike Prince he has a family... he has children to care for... and also unlike Prince he had some serious legal problems and setbacks! On top of that long tours are not his most favored past times!

According to Per Nielson in the book "Prince the first decade-DanceMusicSexRomance, Prince and his band were practicing Jackson 5 songs saying we can be exactly like him and sing these songs-so who's following who? And Prince's stay at the o2 was amazing so why is everyone sounding so threatened I don't get it. I'd love to see Michael Jackson performing there. For the person who said Quincy Jones doesn't want anything to do with him-well he's an ambassador for the 50th grammy awards and it looks like Michael will be honoured there with his Off the Wall and Thriller album going into the grammy hall of fame.

But hey, yeah. He's definitley a child molester. I mean you know that for sure I have to say, I used to consider the majority of Prince fans surprisingly intelligent. But you make up for it with staggering ignorance. [Edited 12/16/07 10:30am] if the trial in the 90´s was a setup.. why did mj pay all that cash 4???

I suggest that you read the documents from the '93 case. In it Michael Jackson does not admit to any wrong doing. If the prosecution had the evidence to try him in a criminal court, it would have had not choice but to go to trial, regardless of the civil settlement.

I don't knock his success, hell I helped it, but Britney Spears has NO talent and she still sells well. I think it's lame when they do that. That's just one of many reasons wny I despise them. "London do you feel for me what I feel for you"- yes Prince - "Can I play my guitar now?" - yes please

JMO
Michael was a great talent…and probably still is but unfortunately we haven’t seen it in almost 20 years. Here are the problems: 1) Accused of child molestation…yes he paid millions per advice from Johnny Cochran. Is this admission of guilt? Johnny said in an interview that he advised Michael to pay off the parents because there is no guarantee that the jury will find you innocent. Was it because of the evidence? Regardless of my opinion…I might have paid the parents off instead of taking a risk of going to prison…That is a bad label to have on you…I don’t know… 2) Accused again…Once a mistake, twice a habit. Why would he put himself in these situations and why talk open about “sharing your bed with boys” on TV? Yes. It is ok for MJ to have an opinion but why say it on TV? His down fall is his own fault. 3) Last couple albums have not done well in the U.S. because we need something NEW. The dancing on bars and grabbing the crotch is getting old. 4) He has two kids named Prince 1 and Prince 2? Isn’t he taking this “King of Pop” thing to far? 5) Every interview, every picture, everything new with MJ is getting weirder…have you seen the latest photo’s with the posted notes or Band-Aids all over his face? 6) Money problems, Money Problems, Money Problems The main problem with stars (including Prince) is they believe their own hype. They have been in the business for so long and they have not been told ‘NO’ in 30 years. Prince with age (or needing a come back) has opened up a lot more. He still contradicts himself a lot but he is out there performing and getting down. The new generation might not be lining up at midnight to get his album but they will watch the brotha. MJ is just out there in his own world and I can’t even defend him. Just my opinion. Prime aka The Kid

I don't understand when people say MJ' last album did not do well in the USA. Do you mean by MJ standards?
2001 Invincible sold 2.3 million in the USA and had two singles that did pretty well. Butterflies peaked at 2# on the Billboard r&b/hip hop chart and YRMW peaked at #10. Now that's not great success for MJ,but compared to other 43 year and over artist at the time, that's not bad. That's actualy not bad for a 20 to 25 year old artist. 2.3 million sold in the USA alone. I think what they mean by flop, they mean by MJ standards. A true Flop is when you start selling in the below 1 million range. MJ will never have sales that low unless it's a greatest hits album. A album with brand new material will always sale 2 million or more. [Edited 12/24/07 22:07pm] [Edited 12/24/07 22:08pm]
