Because all of you have WILLINGLY put on BLINDERS in regards to Mr. Jackson's questionable virtue, whby go any further? YOU'RE NOT SENSIBLE! Besides, anybody in Law enforcement--especially in the FBI's CRIMINAL PROFILING UNIT-- could tell you that MJ EXHIBITS all of the BEHAVIORAL CHARACTERISTS of a PEDOPHILE. That type of HONESTY is more than you can take. 
CURIOUS: Not that I'm interested in stiffling anyone's freedom of speech, but why are you guys on here anyway downgrading Prince fans when this site is aSTOMPING GROUNDS FOR HIS FANS? You guys are obviously hardcore MJ fans...Why are you here arguing with us anyway? Thats a bit pretentious, to assume I have an emotional investment in MJ, much less one that "affects my poor sense of judgment". And that alone is rich, coming from someone who makes no sense, and can't back up their nonsensical claims with any real evidence. Even if you did posses a logical thought process, it's all baseless conjecture. The way I see it, you're the one with "something affecting their poor sense of judgement". I choose to believe MJ is innocent due to the indisputable fact that A) He was acquitted of all 10 charges B) There is NO solid evidence to suggest he is guilty D) People have falsely attacked his child-like tendencies to get money out of him before (see the trial from the 90s. There is proof, audio of the prosecuting family itself, that it was a scam) C) My judge of his character is that he just is not a child predator. Period. He is eccentric and has child-like tendencies; a delayed maturity, like peter pan syndrome. Not to mention a genuine love for children. I don't think he has it in him to harm a child. That is my take on his character, and my belief. Thats my opinion, the facts support it, and I am sticking with it. Regardless of my beliefs or "emotional investment", there is no hard evidence to suggest he is a child molester. There just isn't, and I still have yet to see you prove otherwise. (PROTIP: Putting WORDS IN BOLD makes your arguements VALID and SUPERIOR)

I understand what you're saying. I believe Michael is sexually attracted to little boys, (although whether he's actually fondled any of them I don't know). Now, despite that, I still love his voice and enjoy his music. Does that make me morally bankrupt? If you found out the guy who designed The Statue Of Liberty was a criminal, would you tear down the statue? If it turned out Shakespeare was a mass murderer would you burn all his plays? Personally I'm able to enjoy the work without worrying about the character of the artist. Obviously, as a Prince fan, I've been doing that for a long time. I agree with Midnightmover.With artists like Prince and Michael Jackson,you really have to separate the artist from the music.That's why I'm still able to enjoy their music,despite their obvious character flaws. | |

Michael has been doing concerts already at a time when Prince still was going to school.... so who's following who?? And about the comment on whether it's a gamble whether he can sell out those dates... well, if you look at how much MJ has sold in the UK since '03 compared to Prince, then there is no question about it, that he easily can (if there aren't outlandish ticket prices)! Well based on what we agree on, I don't know why the MJ folks feel like it makes them superior to use sales figures to prove that MJ is the man. I don't knock his success, hell I helped it, but Britney Spears has NO talent and she still sells well. I think it's lame when they do that. That's just one of many reasons wny I despise them.
