I think Jacko could sell out stadium after stadium! So, why doesn't he then? He's been in a cash-crisis for years. Why not just do some bloody work and resolve it? And, where's the libel case for all the "shit" thrown around in that documentary? Including suing the poor guy that had worked with him for years and was sacked with no severance or explanation. Or can Jacko not afford to take people to court anymore? Or has he seen enough of the inside of courtrooms? (BTW - only one quote from what I wrote previously was from that program. The rest of the shit was opinion based on facts I've witnessed). Time will tell - until then, stick to your blind faith, eh? Now do you think he could do 21 Shows with any where near the number of people Prince drew????? To be honest with you, yes. In fact, I think he'd draw MORE than Prince did. Easily. People talk shit, but Michael Jackson is a legendary and exhilarating performer, and if people can see him, they will. Mark my words. [Edited 12/14/07 20:09pm] * [Edited 12/15/07 13:25pm]

True enough. Old Wacko seems to be nothing but rumor and pseudo-hype these days. Just like its supposed new album, I wouldn't be surprised if this tour of its amounts to nothing. I'm afraid of Americans. I'm afraid of the world.

You can't deny that if MJ did do these shows or if he did tour, everyone would be going! The tickets would sell out in a second! Even the haters would be going, I can imagine them screaming alongside the fans in the front row!.. Its too much of a oppurtunity to waste, who wouldnt wanna see MJ perform?

That's what they all say it all really depends on ticket price...thats what it all boils down to. prince did a risky thing, but he got the tickets to a great price, and it paid off big time for him. mj could do it, but he'd also need ticket prices people can really afford, low price; otherwise it would be an embarrasment. id pay certainly, i love MJ, but a lot of people have been hugely swayed over the years by the controversy, atleast prince was on a huge status boost from having hit cds again and huge sellout concerts before hand, plus he's known as being fantastic live, even by non-fans. MJ doesnt have these traits at the moment sadly. Wouldn't you love to love me?

You know, I should have guessed by now, after all that's been done people are still WILLFULLY praising this DEMONIC guy! THIS MAN IS A CHILD MOLESTER!!!!! Doesn't that mean anything to people anymore? And anyone supporting a person who would willingly prey off the innocence of a child for their own sexual gratification is MORALLY BANKRUBT!
No amount of talent on Earth should ever excempt ANYONE from such HARROWING acts. Michael Jackson is literally the LIVING DEAD! Yes, as in NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD! He just hasn't figured it out yet, and he's the last thing in this world I'd want to be.

Michael Jackson WAS a good entertainer, but he's no musician and no songwriter, he'd be nothing without Quincy Jones and the rest of them.
He wont sell out 21 nights, i'd be suprised if he could manage more than 6 plus he'd probably colapse. I cant see him doing 2 hours plus per night. 3121

on the contrary, he has been a very good songwriter and a good musician...just because we dont see him constantly playing instruments doesnt mean he isnt a talented musician; it would be easy to say the same about david bowie and trent reznor, even though both are talented multi-instrumentalists for example. i love MJ to death, but he simply doesn't have the live reputation that Prince does, and he doesnt have the large catalogue of songs either, which means that anything more than 5 nights would be overkill.
I saw him live at Wembley on the History tour in 1997 and although it was great, it was lip-synched, and more so about the visuals and dancing than the music (which you can pretty much say about the majority of his career since the mid 80's) in my opinion the only way he could do it for longer would be if he included an acoustic set in every show (5 or 6 songs) and switched up that every night. That would give a residency of his more shelf-life I think. |

Hand to hand? Prince would be all over poor Michael. Professionally? Prince. But, Michael ain't no punk!... ...If Michael broke into a rendition of the The Jackson 5's "Sugar Daddy" Prince might sing/play along.

As long as MJ was grabbing himself, people were willing to pay to see him in concert. The problem started when he was accused more than once, to grab little boys. That was pretty much the end of his career and I don't think people will ever forget about that. Understandably so. love the one who is Love!

It's funny because he was pronounced innocent on all 10 charges, and the trial in the 90's was proven to be a setup.
But hey, yeah. He's definitley a child molester. I mean you know that for sure I have to say, I used to consider the majority of Prince fans surprisingly intelligent. But you make up for it with staggering ignorance. [Edited 12/16/07 10:30am]

Michael writes nearly all his songs and he is a brilliant song writer, when he didnt work with Quincy Jones he released his Dangerous Album which was a huge. The reason MJ doesnt tour anymore is simply because he doesnt like touring, but there have been rumors he will tour again [Edited 12/16/07 10:38am] while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. Cyra said: I never understood why MJ and Prince constantly get compared. The ONLY thing they have in common is that they are major entertainment icons, and eccentric ones. Other than that, they are COMPLETELY different. One has not copied the other, they both do completely different things, and are both equally talented at their respective efforts.
Stop comparing them, and stop trashing on MJ just because he's not your god, Prince. Heaven forbid the man decides to put on a show/tour (which you damn well know would sell out), especially in Europe where his biggest fanbase resides. Grow up. I think people will 'grow up' on here once you chill out a bit!
