Good for him..
But my vote would be for "Woman", or "B.U.D.D.Y" I never got tired of these 2 songs.... The road you choose to walk in this life, is a road that leads to the next.....

I have never heard "Woman" and "B.U.D.D.Y. sucks ass. The orignal music is "Heartbeat" and it has been used on a dozen other songs.

FUTURE BABY MAMMA is fantastic-head and shoulders over anything else on planet earth lyrically and esp musically -one of princes best jams in years and for my money one of his best rnb numbers this si the song i play for haters and they love it "happy feet' is bound to win-thats a sympathy vote if ever saw one.....you wont give SIGN O THE TIMES a grammy yet you'll give "song of the heart" one..... I'd rank "Future Baby Mama" comfortably at the BOTTOM of Planet Earth, and among the bottom 25 songs of his entire career. He's done the same song a million times before, and better. Plus, the lyrics are cringe-worthy. Hearing a 49-year old man talking about a "future baby mama", particularly since he doesn't seem to understand the phrase, is embarrassing. Moonbeam - are you a Prince fan? I can't say I love Future Baby Mamma but as a fan I appreciate everything Prince does - even the cheesy stuff. Chelsea Rodgers is my fave from Planet Earth - its so damn funky! Nah nah na...Hold on to your wigs!

I hope he does not win. I remember that I always thought back in the day when someone old (above 40 years old) won "gee, this old geezer, why does he get a price, why not someone funky fresh?". But oh well, the categories are not that important ones anyway... And I do like "You know my name" much better than Song of the Heart YES, LET THE FLAMES BEGINN !!!!

Future Baby Mama is my favorite Planet Earth tune and it's a wonder 2 no that it's being recognized! As 4 the Song of the Heart, eye think it's an inspirational tune that should also win, especially after it was not even nominated 4 an Oscar! Wish u the best Prince...4 2 VERY deserving nominations:) [Edited 12/9/07 16:45pm]

Future Baby Mama's just not that good IMO. Still better than 95% of mainstream music, but by Prince standards it's nothing special. Ditto to whoever above made the comment about SOTT not getting a Grammy, but these two being nominated. Song of the Heart is cute, but SOTT was infinitely more deserving. it may be the only released prince song i've never heard. Song of the Heart? When/if you do hear it...ya gotta think..."kids move = kids soundtrack" It's a wonderful family type of song! I've never heard it either but going by the description of the song, I'm sure it sounds horrible. No wonder it was nominated. Andy is a four letter word.

Somewhere here on earth is such a beautiful ballad, why did they not choose that song? in my opion that deserves a grammy. I saw a clip of the video, beautiful.

I think that the name is going to hurt FBM. Song of the Heart seems to have a pretty good chance to win; although Vedder's song feels like a good bet as well.

It would be nice to see him win but it seems totally bogus. You use to win because he deserved it not some payoff or ratings.

Well, good luck, I really don't think he will win in either catergory, although song of the heart has the best chance. Ne-Yo Because of You has that locked, so much moving in that song, no one in that catergory stands a chance.
