Whilst your psychological health is not in question, your continual rants speak of someone who is indeed rattled. Thus, there's something emotionally invested in all of this for you. Do you truly know what that is?

You made a conscious choice to purchase the products that Prince was selling because YOU wanted to. No one, least of all Prince, forced you to. You are an adult and no one takes responsibility for your actions but you. If you feel you supported Prince through "whatever brand of foolishness", then the responsibility for your actions is on YOU and no one else, not even Prince.

This isn't about venting to Prince. Afterall, you made the decisions which you are entirely responsible for as an adult. This is about venting to yourself. Feel free to continue to do so but it might just be more healthy for you (and everyone else) if you moved toward acceptance...of yourself.

I thought:

1. Mary must have a new album coming out.
2. Her manager/agent is working their ass off.
3. As much as I like Mary, I was secretly glad you-know-who doesn't do commercials (was not a fan of the Verizon one), while at the same time I wistfully wondered what it would be like to be a fan of someone who actually uses their image to promote themselves (instead of trying to eradicate all traces of it).
