Were any of Prince's extended versions big hits?

Were sales tracked on extended versions? Getting all the extended versions in the '80s was so much fun, but beyond us fans, did many people buy them and were they very popular in clubs?

i imagine that checking the Billboard club play and sales charts would answer this question.

you might be able to find that info at allmusic.com but i don't know if they have those charts listed for Prince.

Together with the extended Kiss a track that I still hear played at clubs.

I was at a club two weeks back and the crowd EXPLODED when the DJ played Just As Long As We're Together...

Seriously?! I would LOVE to hear that at a club, but I feel there's very little chance of that in the States.

It is a seriosuly kewl club that plays this stuff every now and then; they pump the songs and have a vj showing the video. I heard so many kewl 70's n 80's stuff that evening.
