I understand where u are coming from. I'm from Texas and have visited NYC, Orlando, Los Angeles, New Orleans, etc. and find that Louisiana people are a different breed (compared to other cities). Mind you, I grew up about 40 miles from the border of Lousiana and went to Shreveport on a regular basis (which is probably one of the most dangerous cities in the country), but I found as you travel into the heart of Louisiana, the people get nicer.[/quote]

They do get a lot nicer and beautifuller if there's a such word...LOL! I have visited other states and there's nothing like it where I'm from plus the food is the best!
Um... let me warm up my vocals
Me ME ME ME ME...U U U U U!

I think you're confusing MJ with Prince, cause Prince's career is just fine. MJ is the one that needs career 911. lol

I vividly remember an interview he did on local radio in 1996 (during the JOTY tour) and he stated he was originally from Houston. I remember him saying that he traveled to MPLS from Houston to go work with Prince on the Madhouse projects. Was he born in AR then transplanted to TX?

All I know is that Morris played in a band in Austin in the 80's. He told me himself at an aferparty during the Jam of the Year tour.

Prince should consider moving to Texas to get his career back on track.
We have more land than any other state to build a new paisley park
we have Beyonce here so he can see her even more on the down low
Tamar is singing at the local holiday inn so he could hit her again too when he wants
Larry Graham is from Texas so he could teach him more bible stuff to ruin his career even more
we also have senior and current Bush here!
plus we got yao ming! ifprince is a hit in texas he will be again everywhere else because the rest of the country follows us

Texas also has had the most number of executions and acts of hate crimes. In Texas, people can also just walk out of their house and kill a burglar in the neighbor's yard. I was just talking about all the psychos that come out of Texas with someone the other day, with primary examples, the entire Bush family. You may find your state great, but not everyone is of the same opinion. Sorry, as I know you'll be hating on me for this, I'm sure you're very nice and I don't want to generalize, but ... Prince surely doesn't need Texas "to get his career back" (just your opinion he needs his career back). Why don't we all focus on unity and world citizenship, rather than claiming one part is better than another? That's the mentality I find very scary and dangerous: we are better, we have this & we have that, we understand more, we, we , we ... not really !!

I agree, I think Australia is the best place in the world and Australians are superior in every way.

Hey...TX is much better than LA. At least our roads aren't a bunch of pot-holes lol

The stars at night...are big and bright (clap clap clap clap) deep in the heart of Texas...

The traffic is horrible! It's hot! And I left my Ex in Texas! Louisiana is a homely place...Everyone's friendly and the weather is nice...I'm not saying that La is a better place to be but you can always go home...Plus if he comes this way, we'll feed him and he'll get back to a healthy weight... wink

THAT'S FO SHO, Big bowl o Gumbo

Okay, well there's 4 good reasons to nuke Texas right there...

Help me! I can't breathe. Laughing too hard.

You're talking about Morris Hayes and not Morris Day, correct?

Yes

Is he really ? He told me he was from Arkansas.

By the way, isn´t Dubya actually from Connecticut ? He grew up in TX but he´s not really from there, or is he ?

You´re right, our man Morris is from Arkansas, as he told me a couple of years ago ( I spend 4th of July with him and my friend Mike ).
And he´s such a great guy, don´t you think. We had very long and intense conversations and he´s one of the nicest, most intelligent, mellow and most articulate people I ever had the pleasure to meet. I´m glad he´s back in the band again, he´s for sure a very positive person.

By the way, talking about Houston, Texas and Prince....I think Prince´s houston concerts, especially in the 80s,have always been very special, especially when he was touring with The Time.
