Hi has anyone got the album chaos and dissorder?? god its such an amazing album one of the best!! especially 'i rock therefore i am' i am getting the gold experience at the weekend whats that like?? i went to see prince in london was absoultly amazing!!!

C&D is a very good album indeed!...Another collection of underrated tracks ...

yeah, a great cd that doesnt get the credit it deserves...people ask for a rock album, but this IS pretty much his full rock album.

and gold experience...well, to be fair, its by prince...meaning it has a 95 percent chance of being very good .....and its very very good. more of a hard dance like feel to it than the type of rock on C and D though, though thats not say he doesnt rock out on guitar though

I kind of like the album, the first half at least. Once "I Rock" starts I lose all interest -- "Into the Light" and "I Will" don't belong on a rock album either. "Dig U Better Dead" and "Had U" do, though. I like the original version of "Zannalee" much better too. So lean and funky. The version on Chaos is too produced. Thankfully he didn't rerecord "Same December."

Basically, its a fully fledged, bad ass rock album (the first half at least), which is simply full of power, energy, fun and playfullness. Its Prince having a good time and rocking the house! Its just amazing.

Ive got to say that "I Rock therefore I am" kind of ruins the party for me, but it gets back on track with Into the Light/I will (great songwriting and lyrics) and really gets dark and funky on DIG U BETTER BEAD, I mean that song could have been on the black album, its so sacracstic.. Had U is his dig at WB, and its as precise, incisive, heartfelt, personal and articulate as you will ever get from Prince.

The record was packaged low key, and it got no support from record company (and therefore reviewers who are ultimately paid off by record companies to say good things). The negativity surrounding it at the time of release also affected the mind set of P fans, many of whom to this day hate it so much they havent even heard it yet! Amazing. The refreshing aspect in this however is that the raw energy of P shines throughout and regardless of what people say, if you give it a go (I love listening to this in my car) you will really feel the same energy that this album was intended to portray. Its like his PFUNK today, with all the anti P sentiment, he brings out something so full of greatness that we all have to sit up and take notice - it's Prince's way..

This album is pure genius, perhaps the last bit of genius we have ever seen from Prince.

Yeah, keep lying to yourself. C&D is not a good album. Dinner With Delors is the only good cut in my opinion.
