The album that Prince should have put out....if he just waited.

Taking by themselves 3121 and Planet Earth should have never seen the light of day. And with F.U.N.K being released, one has to wonder if Prince still knows what it takes to release a good album. So, I decided to help him out a little bit. The following are the songs that should have made released instead of the stuff we have to deal with from him.

1) 3121
2) Guitar
3) Chelsea Rogers
4) Te Amo Cartason - a filler, yes, but no album is perfect.
5) F.U.N.K
6) Future Baby Mama
7) Fury - the live version.
8) Beautiful, Loved & Blesed

I was going to include Love, but that rap in the middle of it is just bad (not in a good way).

Not enough songs for a complete album....I guess we just have to wait until Prince releases another single / album..

I don't think FUNK and 3121 will fit in. They sound too different from the rest. BTW, Love is my favourite song from the 3121 album, especially the middle rap bit.

The rap bit is fun, makes you want to be in a club with Prince smile

Don't know about this line-up, but it does seem like F.U.N.K. was written in the same vein of S.S.T/Brand New Orleans.

Planet Earth *is* the album he put out after waiting.

I don't agree with you on this only because 3121 and Planet Earth are completely different albums not just in theme but also in sound, style and mood.

Yes, they both have funk, rock and soul but still, all different. That's what makes PRINCE unique and special, all his albums stand alone.

So to me, I can make an MP3 Disc set of Musicology, 3121 and Planet Earth all together in it's "trilogy like" flow including the additions of Song Of The Heart, S.S.T, Love (acoustic) and now PFUnk/F.U.N.K. and I have ONE HELL of a Killer Set!

Enjoy! cool
