This whole discussion on veganism and vegetarianism is very interesting (and I mean that!) but the original question had to do with him wearing "patent leather" shoes. Whether he wore them or not is irrelevant. "Patent leather" is NOT leather anyway! Leather and suede.....but not patent leather. Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.

So he's no longer vegetarian? At least chicken and fish is better for you than red meat and pork. Salmon is the best! How about that Steelhead? Salmon is my favorite fish dish, so far. If the rumor about Prince is true, then, I am kind of happy to say that I share a mutual diet (Though I might be less disgruntled than the guy. I'm not sure.). I don't eat beef or pork. And, I "KIND" of try to lay off of fried foods, but it can be tempting..... (I must be hungry because I just realized that all the threads I've done tonight so far has been about food... ) | |

what pray tell IS patent leather made from, then? i'm genuinely curious to know, because i always thought it originated from cowhide. | |
