to me at the beginning it sounds like an opening theme song to a 70's tv show and then it gets to the melody and now its like a remixed version of Do, me, baby.....
anyway the song is not really all that good (maybe because of the fact that they claim prince had NOTHING to do with the production of the music) Imma give u dat on mo gen PRINCE CLAIMS TO HAVE HAD NUTHING TO DO WITH THE PRODUCTION OF THE MUSIC BIG SUPRISE HUH?!?!?!?!?! I mean the song has its own tone but it didnt really give me any emotion when i heard it becuz the music was a lil iffy..and princes vocals were very cheezy and not very vivid..... P-Funk im not gonna say is the best song since older hits bcuz alot of princes recent albums i jam to more than the oldies (emancipation, rave, chaos and disorder, MUSICOLOGY, 3121, PLANET EARTH) but it is a very good rythm and u can really get in 2 when im sitting at my computer on a sunday night on myspace trynna find sumbdy ta talk 2 funny and bright in an all white room feeling like the color blu...LOL idk mayb i have a different ear than others FANS....but i appreciate and really get into the more recent jams.... but my case with P-funk is dat its like prince seems like hes trynna dis all the "haters" in the most polite way possible....idk wat the real meaning to the song is but i do know its very vague in defining wat P trynna truly say one thing i do notice is that prince seems like he trying to get into new things with his recent music and it doesnt seem to please the crowd and he doesnt seem to care....but then he goes bac to old skoo with p-funk get sum good review and BAM!!! its on itunes now.....i really have a hard time understanding u prince.... hav u had ur + sign 2 day.

i'm no flowerhead (nor am i vegan...strict vegetarian here), but it's easier to be a vegan than most people think. it just requires the proper supplements and nutritional planning to maintain the right amount of nutrients for the transition. some people claim that their bodies just aren't compatible with a vegan diet, which i think is a valid claim, though i always wonder how much planning they put into the transition to a vegan diet or if they just went cold turkey without considering how to make up for what they were suddenly cutting out of their diets. it takes some planning. it's not an instantaneous rapid-rewards kind of dietary change. It takes planning and constant vigillence no? 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I imagine it would be hard to cease being of this world yes, you must follow all the vegan rules to the letter or else you get arrested by the vegan police and you're put in parsnip prison where you're forced to eat tofurkey all the time and you have to wear unbleached hemp outfits every day. seriously, everyone has their own "rules" or "limits" as to what is unethical and what they need to survive. some people are super extremist principled, and good for them if they have the time and resources to live like that...and there are people who are like "i don't need to eat it, but i need something leather on my feet when it snows" and there are other people who are like "i don't believe in factory farming but i need my meat, so i'll buy it free-range". there's nobody keeping score and i haven't won a blue ribbon yet for not eating meat for the past 19 years. it's just a matter of doing what feels good for YOU.

That would be me. I really try to buy as much food that is locally and sustainably produced, as possible. I know the farmers who raise the animals I eat and can be sure they are good stewards of both the animals and the land they graze. I consider it a privilege to be able to do this. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
