3121.com When did Prince stop being vegan? From Sun 18th "Dapper as ever in a knee-length black coat with matching pants, patent leather kicks, a white ruffled shirt and his hair slicked back"
He don't need to be wearing animal skins, not when he's the only middle aged man that can carry off lycra.

It's been reported that Prince has been seen eating chicken and fish around the time of the Musicology tour, though in his defense (?) the patent leather kicks could have been pleather (fake leather). Probably not, but it's entirely possible...

Vegan is very hard to achieve actually. Tried it myself and failed. Don't think us humans are set up for that type of eating. Although I know the flowerheads and folks at PETA would disagree.

i'm no flowerhead (nor am i vegan...strict vegetarian here), but it's easier to be a vegan than most people think. it just requires the proper supplements and nutritional planning to maintain the right amount of nutrients for the transition. some people claim that their bodies just aren't compatible with a vegan diet, which i think is a valid claim, though i always wonder how much planning they put into the transition to a vegan diet or if they just went cold turkey without considering how to make up for what they were suddenly cutting out of their diets. it takes some planning. it's not an instantaneous rapid-rewards kind of dietary change.

I'm a strict vegetarian, and pretty close to being vegan. It's just about planning like Anxiety said. |

There are degrees of vegetarianism...and vegan is the strictest of them. All vegans are vegetarians, but not all vegetarians are vegans. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

The difference is this. Vegans won't eat ANYTHING that comes from an animal, which means no dairy. http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

That's what I meant about there being degrees of vegetarianism. There are lactovegetarians, who eat dairy but no other animal foods. There are ovolactovegetarians, who'll do eggs and dairy. Pescovegetarians, who'll eat fish but no other animal flesh. Etc. Etc. Etc. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Etc. I'm sorry. If you eat fish, then you can't call yourself "vegetarian". What the hell is an "ovolactovegetarian"? Who calls themselves that? And eggs are dairy. People try to make things seem way more complicated than they have to be. You either are a carnivore, a vegetarian or a vegan. If you eat fish, you're a carnivore (albeit a healthier one for sure). If you don't eat meat but eat dairy you're a vegetarian. If you don't eat meat or dairy you're vegan. ovolactovegetarian. that's just silly. http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

What...like eggs come out of a chicken's mammary glands? (If chicken even had mammary glands which, being birds, they don't.) The fact that eggs are near (or in) the dairy section of a grocery store doesn't make them dairy, my dear. Think about it. There are ovolactovegetarians. Here's a little remedial Latin for you. Ovo = eggs. Lacto = milk. Get it now? And you might think about getting a B-12 shot. Combativeness is a sign of B-12 deficiency -- common in vegans. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I'm the extremely sarcastic one, remember? I've heard all of those terms before, but i think they're silly. I think my definition is much much simpler is all. You know "kicks" is a reference to shoes. Right? Not pants. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

iv been noticing in pictures of him that he has some well how you say meat on him and that he is not so pale. In past photos when he was doing the whole vegan thing he was really skinny and really pale. So im guessing he is starting to eat a bit of the meat.
