What ever happened to NPGMC selling copies of this guitar?? I'm sure it was promised ages ago?? Did anyone every get one?

I'm pretty sure Habibi is the name someone gave to the purple symbol Auerswald-style guitar.

I bet Jerry Auerswald would build you one, if you asked him nicely! I talked to him before and he's a nice chap. Of course, he isn't cheap ...

per NPGMC:

I Emailed NPGMC a few months ago when they put the guitars up for sale. They only got 15 of each (15 white and 15 blue) for sale at the time. The 30 guitars sold out in a few days because I was going to purchase one; but I thought that they would never sell them at $1500 bucks a pop. However NPGMC did tell me that they would be getting another shippment of cloud guitars within 6 months. I asked if they would be selling the black copy from the Batdance video (the black cloud bass version) or if they would ever sell the symbol guitar. They told me NO on both questions. I never did Email them back and ask for a reason why.

PS. Habibi in Arabic means "Kill all Americans!!!" DOH

I'm so sure so many people have told me that it means my love! Kill all Americans??? Not quite the same 2 even qualify confusion!
