Around the World In A Day Goddamn. I love this album. I bought it last week and have listened to it twice a day since I got it. SOOOO much better than Purple Rain. This album is probably in my Top 5 albums ever. Paisley Park, Pop Life, and Temptation are my faves. It's so good. Paisley Park is probably the best song I've heard in a year. The interlude between Paisley Park and Condition of the Heart is awesome too. Very unsettling, but happy at the same time. Just awesome. Just wanted to put that out there. It is an amazing album, start to finish.
Prince has said that he didn't want to make Purple Rain Part II ... but 22 years later, it does sound a whole lot like Purple Rain Part II!! |
