Prince, stand up for something! 
I'm officially callin' you out little man! This is it damn it. I want answers just like all the rest of your fans, who are legion! Just look at how we supported you for 21 frikkin' days in London. We ate that iSht up and asked for seconds and now you're gonna pull some boodgie ass bullshit like this??? What the HELL is wrong with you? Oh, and don't come at me with some "In Jesus name..." or "Because I'm now a J.W." crap either!!! WE. MADE. YOU. DUDE!!! Yeah, your music is the BOMB and we all think you are fly as hell. You're the ONLY man I know that can pull off your stunts and outfits. But GIVE. ME. A. BREAK!!! I've listened, and marveled, and stood up for you and your legacy countless times. 23 of my 36 years of life I've truly adored you. I defended you and your whole "symbol" moment and chalked it up to "stardom" & BS contracts. I became a better man by finding your music. I have a wife and two children thanks in large part to your influence on my life. The whole time I never once questioned your mysterious moves, I always felt that I needed you to be shrouded in that magic purple spell you weave so well. But now!?!?!? Stand up Prince Rogers Nelson! It's really not that deep. Just don't but his stuff anymore and stop telling us how if it weren't for you or us Prince would be a nobody. He would still be the best at what he does because he has talent. Don't buy the music and don't go to the concerts. But for heaven sake stop the moaning and groaning. He says don't videotape the concerts ,people do. He says don't take pics of him and people do and as soon as he puts his foot down alot of people start the bitching. You can't have it both ways. | |

His fans supply a demand for record sales, which allows for the record companies to back Prince and commission him to make more music and sponsor concerts,...this is a business, without a demand for him, Prince would not be seen or hear by anybody....no matter how good he was. Prince is a public figure because of our support of his work.....if President Bush can't stop us from taking his pictures, then Prince can't either.....to think he should have this control is ridiculous. | |

Prince isn't being judged unfairly, he is a public figure in an international forum. JW's aren't bashing him for the way he portrays himself in the public.
Nobody is perfect, but would you allow any Christian minister in your church to behave the way he does in public, especially if their doctrine focuses on ministering whenever possible. | |

I never said I made Prince rich myself, but me and others like me(like you) have for over 20+ years spent hundreds, (or in my case, thousands) of dollars on his products. He doesn't have to kiss my ass personally, but WE as a collective DID make the purchases, that generated a demand which allows for his fame and wealth. That is exactly why he thanks God for his talents AND his fans for the SUPPORT without both, he'd be pushing a f***king broom! Almost forgot,...before you go into anymore BS about how we didn't make Prince, remember that Prince gave away cd's as a promotion to boost his sales so that he could be counted as having higher record sales. He did this giveaway technique with Musicology and PE as a marketing tools to cheat because he needs to to keep himself as a moneymaker in the eyes of the record companies so they can back distribution for any future release. Can some one from the industry help me on this, cause I want to help Bull and others see what I see. This IS a business 1st, Prince needs his fans to keep his sales up so that he can stay relevant, every sale for him does help. I don't go to this site to leak concert footage, sell bootlegged material, or post vulgar pictures of him that would damage his image, I come to this site to get info on Prince, for shows I might not be able to go to, and discuss his music in review, and basicly support Prince further....so why would I want him to take away one of the resources I have to support him? I and others like me don't want to steal from him, just enjoy him and his work....that's what this site is for...so don't say we come here to pirate and defame, you are wrong.
