The clampdown is having a positive effect: The fams are leaving the org! Who would have thought it? But Prince's lastest nutter move has a silver lining.
The fams who want to respect his wishes are leaving! They want to support Prince so they are going! Wonderful. Prince has managed to do what most of us haven't been able to since the NPGMC forums shut down! Thanks Prince, you are restoring some sanity to the org! . |

Yeah, there's a point to that. If all this means there are no more threads with poems written about Prince, it can't all be bad. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

As far as I understand from the notes of PFU and the closing of previous sites The Son of a Kings main concern is with use of his image and getting Paid. When he or his people actually makes contact with Fansite member or unofficial fansite with regards to editing or banning somebody opinion... Well then I'll put my boxing gloves on. Until then, I'll be here on my fence...  One minute they want peace……

His lawyers will be advising him that most sites will just crawl away and hide. In essence, shut down. As we saw with Prince Vs Uptown, Prince's threats usually have little legal merit. He uses scare tactics. With the amount of world wide press he is getting from this, I expect he'll back down real soon and claim he bever really wanted to shut them down! . |
