I used to have this phone - just use the cable to connect it to your PC and you can move tracks across onto your phone (whole ones, but if you select one as your ring tone it only plays say 10 seconds). Just use windows explorer - your phone will show up like a detatchable drive so you can drag or copy stuff across (including photos if you want to). There's plenty of space on your phone for several tracks, so you can have different rings for different callers if you can be bothered!

I'm using the opening bars of planet earth at the moment, because i prefer instrumental, but the girl who sits next to me at work says it's a bit eerie so i might swap to something funkier - i like the suggestion of Get on the Boat!

I have a great FREE site where you make your own ringtones from any music you upload. This is not one of those scams either. You upload the song and can choose and part of it to be your ringtone. Orgnote me if you are interested. I am pretty sure it works with most if not all carriers. The only thing it costs is a text message and about 2 seconds on the internet from your phone to download it.

At the moment I've got get on the Boat, would like "old skool joint for the true funk soldiers" from Musicology for my text tone, but I can't seem to get into a few of latter albums, must have some software that blocks you from editing them.

It's a shame, but plan I to do loads more!

thank u, i'll try that! i tried recording it unto my phone,and although it records the snip it, it won't allow me to place that recording as a ringtone. Go figure! verizon wants me to buy THEIR ringtones.
