The Queen of Starting Over herself - Beverley Knight - mentioned Prince last night in her opening speech to last night's concert.

Stating she had had a fantastic last year, going on to say the highlight of which was to sing with her idol - Prince, this summer!

The concert, centred around her latest album, - Music City Soul - was fantastic.
Good ol' fashioned soul - real music performed by real musicians!

hats off to her, she was a fantastic warm up act for prince, really kicked the show off. much respect to her.
