Well if he's still a Witness, I'd say he'd wait until the new system.

Don't think it has got something to do with his first child, that's 11 years ago. He believes so..

A man with his status doesn't just pick someone out to have a child with. He needs to connect with someone. Being that known makes it extra difficult.

Can't imagine him having kids a la Britney Spears, no thinking and just go ahead... what comes next, we'll see later, crazy.

For all we know he maybe has kids or has given up the faith to have one, getting older and not having found the right person yet.

I really whished him a child. They are so pure and they are so.... yourself, it goes so deep. My mom and my son, they're me, that gives a good feeling, knowing that someone else is one with you.

If I have any advice to give Prince in this area is to try and have children as soon as possible and make it a priority. (That is if he is serious).
He does not have to wait for the "perfect" woman as she probably does not exist. Time will pass quickly and soon he will be 65 yrs old and still waiting for her.
Children are so beautiful and it would be nice to share his legacy with his child / children. biggrin He can also hire a surrogate or go to an egg bank. This way he does not have to worry about custody battles.. just my two cents.
I wish him the best of luck in this area. He has always wanted to be a daddy.

Yesterday my daughter (5yrs) asked me what I liked the most in this whole big world?? I told her I liked talking to her the most. My reply stunned her for a moment, but it is true. I love her the most. biggrin

Anyway, back to the subject as I was sidetracked for a moment...

I don't really know! But if he wishes, I hope it does happen for him.

it is a difficult subject.
when i read the first line, i sort of cringed inside ('the death of his baby').

i agree that if he wants a child he should make it happen.
i have no problem w/the idea of a surrogate or egg bank, etc.
it could avoid alot of problems down the road . . .

perhaps there is NO WAY any one can relate to his situation
unless they've lost a child (particularly at birth).
i speculate it greatly affected him spiritually.
it makes me cry even now as i type when i think of his TOTAL JOY
during that period he was interviewed on Oprah w/Mayte.

his LIGHT was one of the brightest lights i've ever seen at that time in his life.

ultimately, i expect it's a profound subject between him and God.
and that may be why he hasn't gone the more assertive, deliberate & separate route.

pray

What do you mean, about his light being the brightest at this point in life? Is this when Mayte was still pregnant? Ok, after reading it again, I think that's what you mean.

There's no doubt in my mind that this terrible ordeal has left Prince (and Mayte of course)with a profound spiritual and emotional wound .I'm sure it also has an impact on Prince's faith and lifestyle.
I sincerely hope both Mayte and Prince have found some kind of peace and that they both have healthy children one day.Amen.

I really hope he has another child one day. Does anyone think it's strange that he didn't have a baby with Mani? I'm sure he wants to be a daddy - 'Future Baby Mama?

Well, it wasn't such a strange question, I've wondered myself many times, maybe others too.

I think it is the way you phrased the initial question that is disturbing.

Substitute "death" for loss seems to soften the blow a little. Remember we are his fans and hurt just like he does.
