Nothing really because I not ever heard any remixes wait except Get off (house mix)

Definitely the Universal Love remix of Space. Also for me: the Glam Slam extended version and Little Red Corvette.

Though I do like the Universal Love mix, I think the acoustic mix of Space is the best of the bunch.

Little Red Corvette Dance Mix. It's better than the original. I don't even playthe original anymore, I just play the Mix. cool

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Agreed.

I also liked a mix of "My Name is Prince" from his maxi-single for My Name Is Prince, but I don't recall the name of it.

Yea, the "Hardcore Remix' is the amazing! -- and Universal Love remix is his absolute best remix; a brilliant classic.

Others I think are incredible:

TGRES (Neptunes Mix)

Something in the Water (1990's mix)

Somebody's Somebody (live studio mix)

The Future (remix)

Electric Chair (Remix)

Hallucination Rain (Extended Remix)

The Good Life (big city remix)

All the 1980s remixes are better than the originals. However, very few of the 1990s remixes are better than the originals because on most of those remixes, he made them sound shit hop.

You mean the Nasty Girl Remix from Rave in2? That is a great mix. I think I do like that more than the original.

If "Tell Me How U Wanna B Done" counts as a remix to "The Continental" then I pick that, too.

Not necessarily remixes, but i consider the longer versions of:

Alphabet Street (the album version)
Thieves in the Temple ('put your foot on a rock')
Mountains (the 10 minutes version).

Better then the shorter versions.

often the 80's had longer versions with slight remixing or re-mastering (like Mountains)

Youre right about Mountains ufoclub, that 10 minute version had a different (harder) drumbeat.

The "This Is Not Music, This Is A Trip" remix leaves the album version in the dust.

nod The original came on the radio this morning and I was singing the dance mix. I LOVE the dance mix.

Also, the Thieves in the Temple remix/extended version. I also LOVED the video for that one. I remember having to watch BET to see it, because that was the only channel that showed that version with Robin Power and P doing their thang. It was so funky and sexy.

"this is a trip" doesnt have the actual song in it though, it's just a jam on the groove. it's like he recorded an extended version then cut off the extended jam section and released it as a whole other song. which he probably actually did

Hypermix version of Come On. Better than the original, in my opinion.

I Wish U Heaven remix is incredible and much better than the original. "Take this beat I don't mind, I get plenty others and their so fine." It's also where he introduces the Blue Angel.

Housequake remix is alot different but equally good. Jazzy-Funk at its best.

Let's Work remix takes the extends the ultimate P bassline.

So Dark (from the Crystal Ball set)

I love both versions, but the Crystal Ball version gives the song that extra kick!

Most Beautiful Girl In The World (mustang mix). His lead vocals are much more raw & his harmonic arrangements & backing licks are just mindblowing!!!

& as a rule of thumb, all the longer versions of the tracks that remain true to the originals are always better coz u get the extra lyrics & instrumental jams.
