Let's start a Prince schism Just like the protestents left the Catholic church, I say all the prince fans who hate planet earth (i'm with you) separate from all the Prince fans that like it. Clearly Prince fans that like Planet Earth don't know what they are talking about and can't really be considered Prince fans if think an album that sucks balls that hard is any good. Their encouragement and support is only going to make Prince want to put out more crappola. So, I say let's have us a good old fashioned schism. I say The Org takes a side and housequake takes the other side and we divide ourselves never to intermingle again, except for a Prince olympics that will be held every four years. There we will compete in trivia and karaoke contests, so that those that hate Planet Earth can once again show their prince fan superiority.

I my experience having you balls sucked hard is quite pleasureable, well maybe not so hard but... Sorry which forum am I in ? Oh... sorry. WTF are you babbling on about ? Sorry its nothing personal, theres many of you. I think its time you got a hobby like the person babbling on about astronauts, maybe stamp collecting, knitting or decopage, something.. Is it just me or do other people here wonder what kind of lives some of these thread starters have ? How much energy is wasted on meaningless silly questions about nothing ? I know, I know, Ive being bloody reading them myself and replying, but its not something I do often, its just that I got bored and there was nowt on the telly. Im in the wrong forum, I know...Im gonna ring The Samaritans.... wish me luck

In the words of Stephanie Tanner:
How Rude! Sure, childish, but then again, so is this. We all have our different tastes and opinions and are allowed to have them. But going as far to say that liking Planet Earth is saying that you're not a true fan is just I can't begin to explain my anger towards that. I'm not the only one, I'm sure, who loves the album. People who like it have been part of the Prince community for all different lengths of time. They are probably as saddened by the criticisms towards it as I am and debunking them as "not true Prince fans" is just making matters worse around here. Saying that someone isn't a true fan because they love an album you hate is almost as bad as saying... Saying that someone who hasn't been here for as long as you isn't a true fan because they haven't spend enough time listening to Prince. How much time a person has spent with his music doesn't determine how big a fan they are because that person loves the music just as much as someone who has been with Prince since the very beginning of his career. In fact, I did a whole blog entry about someone I encountered who accused another of not being a true Prince fan. http://www.xanga.com/DreamyPopRoyalty Check it out if you wish. Not quite the same thing, but I don't think anyone has the right to judge who are and aren't true fans. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Don't get worked up about it, this person is talking out of their bottom cos theres nothing else to. Thats why I suggested stamp collecting and the like cos this person and many others seem to have a lot of leisure time and nothing better to do than come up with the silliest thread title in the whole world ever. You know what you like thats all that matters. Erm have you thought about stamp collecting ? [Edited 10/25/07 14:37pm]

No I don't have a sense of humour I collect stamps, ring the Samaritans, sit on window ledges and wonder what music astronauts should wake up to. If you looked like George Constanza you wouldn't look on the bright side of life either. You are one of the lucky ones. Loved, beautiful and blessed. Like the guy who said He looked like Jackie Onasis in an Elvis jumpsuit.

dude, this is so cute! ignore the rest o them twerps. Whoosed right over their mullets. Your subtle notes of irony seemed to rubbish what is to others an erstwhile pastime (ie prosaic jockeying on all things Princey) Flippant sarcasm is almost too subtle as post. too glib too clever-- Sick'em! ps. I'm with you m8ey.. PE hums --but even if you had said, (like whatever) SOTT sucked, for example, I'd still think you were being cute. 'sides... Prince olympics is what i seem to witness everytime i log on. I think the very idea of restricting it to four years, gave em the willies. x
