Which Prince songs do you like that... ...have you in disbelief because there was a time when you really didn't like them very much?
I've got quite a few songs that I didn't like at all and I'm in such disbelief that there was a time that I ever did dislike them. Gett Off and When Doves Cry Also... which songs are you surprised that you actually like even though the genre doesn't appeal to you otherwise? For me:  wanna melt with U

Literally after 20 years of disliking it, I became a huge fan of "Baby, I'm a Star." It just came on and I was blown away. Now I can't get enough of it. Prince has several songs that I didn't like at first that became well-liked later on. "Shockadelica" was another. "Live 4 Love" too.
For the genre question, I'd have to say "Courtin' Time." | |

As for songs I didn't care for, that now I love:
Kiss (well, it was just OK at first, then I just loved it one day) Sign O' the Times Take Me With U All the Critics Love U in NY 7 Willing and Able Live 4 Love Digital Garden Te Amo Corazon Elephants and Flowers I Wanna Be Your Lover As for one's I didn't really like at all, that now I love Call My Name The One If I Was Ur Girlfriend It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night Housequake (I didn't use to care for SOTT that much at all really, now it's in my top 3) Condition of the Heart and  Mountains  (I love this song to death now)
The genre question doesn't apply to me since I find something in all music genres that Prince has done work in that I like. "For those who know the number and don't call...Fuck all y'all" | |

When I was 9 or 10 years old I didn't care for 'Sign O' The Times' that much  It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Well, after saying I would listen to my other CD's, I finally opened The Hits 2 and listened to "If I was Your Girlfriend". I loved it!
For me that was the first time I listened to that song (I actually shouldn't be posting because this is off subject).  | |
