What's Prince songs, if any, sounded futuristic the first time you heard them? I would imagine some of his songs sounded like the new shit when they first came out, but most of his progressive shit came out before I got into Prince...come on old heads break it on down for us young'uns

The Rainbow Children cd. definitely sounds ahead of it's time. A world love, that Prince has spoken about for years, along with the relationships that exist between two individuals, still hasn't come to grace us all. The Everlasting Now, is ahead of it's time because is so long overdue.

What I was trying to say is that Adore to me was a futuristic love song b/c at first it did sound like a love between two people but after I had my boys, the words became more sence to me when I switched them around to better fit on how I felt about my boys. You can not divide love, love just grows more and more. Unconditional love and love that only changes b/c it gets stronger and never weak. From the time they were born til I die, I will love them forever and everytime I hear the song, I do actually have tears in my eyes. Now, it does have a double meaning to me b/c it does remind me about the type of love I have for my boys but it does still remind me the kind of love I have for my Fiance. This song is too perfect!
