The song is alright! I think I here Prince at the very end of the song, and all he harmonizes is "Here I...I...I...I...I come"!  
Plus I really couldn't make out the words too well onthe song so I didn't hear anything about Kim Basinger! surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

Rihanna should have sung this, then everyone one would say it is a masterpiece, I can only assume Prince wrote this trying to figure out the salt from the pepper

Very, very nice song. This is not generic to my ears at all, as has been suggested by some here already.

I actually like it, IT GROWS I think Rihanna probably would have actually sung the song a little better, "but" I don't think her voice would really fit into this song well. So either way I would still be so...so about the song! surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

Prince is definitely laying this chick -- she's got the look Prince likes -- spanish looking but with a manly face. Can Prince leave this cookie cutter, generic r&b music behind? I can't believe the same guy who made music from ATWIAD, Parade, Dream Factory, and SOTT would waste time making this meaningless music. When you have a gift you should use it. I like it. Always love Prince's production - the interplay between the bass and the guitar/keys is cool on this one. Don't really care for Bria's vocals though. Not bad I guess, but not really amazing. Sounds a little like J-Lo . Shelby has a unique voice - why not use her instead?
