...not a new release but for those who don't already have it and are up for a bargain, POSESSED: THE RISE AND FALL OF PRINCE by Alex Hahn is bein sold at a very reasonable £3 in Fopp record stores. This isn't a sale/ reduced price, and I spotted it yesterday.
Just thought I'd share since it's a good price!

well, i got it even cheaper. Got if for $2 from a bookstore in Austin, Texas, while visiting the US in Jan 2005.

I didn't find the book to be objective though. The author can't decide whether he has to praise Prince or rip him apart. Alex seems to have a major grudge with him and it is evident in his writing.

Aye, they did go bust a few months ago along with music zone, but they re-opened a few stores after being bought over by someone else. The one in my area re-opened after being closed for a few weeks and that's where I saw the book.
