3 worst Prince songs Prince has made some brilliant songs, but there have also been some not so good. My choice 4 least favourite songs are;

1) Friend, Lover, Mother, Sister/Wife (absolutely sickening) 2) Rave un2 the Joy Fantastic (the officially released version) 3) Jam of the Year (it's not egregiously bad, but it is egregiously boring, and that's unforgivable for a song with such a brazen title) | |

I don't think it's one of the three worst, but that just made me 'LOL' ! 
My 3: 1. Hot Wit' U (Fucking tragic. This is Prince having a wank, just after he's had one, just because he's got nothing better to do). 
2. U Make My Sunshine (U Make My Sphincter Clench)
3. Get On The Boat (The Titanic, hopefully)
There's others that could've been chosen just as easily - Life O' The Party, Incense & Candles, Y Should Eye Do That When Eye Can Do This, High, Poom Poom, Cybersingle, Radical Man 2045 etc, etc. Prince's list of crimes against music in the past 10 years is both lengthy and nefarious. You know that thing fans often say 'even a bad Prince album is better than everyone else's album put out that year' - I say bullshit, that just shows how small their field of musical input is. It is like a paradox. The songs are interchangeable from best to worst. Just a few weeks ago, i guessed that 'all the midnites in the world' was the worst song on Planet Earth. It was hard to pick but musically it seemed the weakest. Then i really heard the lyrics. Now i think it's one of the best. | |
