There's others that could've been chosen just as easily - Life O' The Party, Incense & Candles, Y Should Eye Do That When Eye Can Do This, High, Poom Poom, Cybersingle, Radical Man 2045 etc, etc. Prince's list of crimes against music in the past 10 years is both lengthy and nefarious. You know that thing fans often say 'even a bad Prince album is better than everyone else's album put out that year' - I say bullshit, that just shows how small their field of musical input is.

1) Arms Of Orion - Typical 80's Power ballad duet. Just why?
2) Cloreen Bacon Skin - Not really a song, but it is 15 minutes on Crystal Ball I could do without. It could have been 2 or 3 other songs instead. 3) Count the days - Or one of the other songs on Exodus where he goes all gangster and sings about "smokin'" people. Never really believed the pseudo-gangster guise. Maybe a pimp. But he'd definitely have heavies around him. | |
