Plus he needs a break He's not taking any time to study no bible...that's his way of getting the word out at press conferences...when has Prince ever taken time off??? He doesn't need a break, at least not a long one...he was at the same venue for 21 days...that's much different that a regular tour. I read this man like a book...(not the bible though) Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

After his Musicology tour, Prince was gone for almost 3 years, how can anyone forget that? [Edited 9/22/07 10:56am]

[Edited 9/22/07 10:56am] Sly Stone has the market cornered on "gone"...Prince is always somewhere visible (Prettyman ain't gonna be away from the camera's,...you know that). Plus, he was writing music and performing at Vegas and small clubs before that. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. Aww, he could study the bible any ol' time.
Like during the instrumentals, maybe. At least, that's what I tend to do when I'm at one of his concerts

[Edited 9/22/07 10:56am] Not true. After the Musicology tour, he took a year off, made 3121, then headed for Vegas. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Prince took enough time off when he was married to Mani....doesn't seem like it did him much good
anyways, he should already be in the daily habit of study, worship, meditation and prayer.....if not, he's not gonna make it easy on himself to stay on track. When he gets busy again, what's he gonna do? [Edited 9/22/07 15:16pm]

honestly.. the dude needs a break.. he should take off and do nothing for like 2 straight months and get refreshed.. and oh.. i too do want a tour .. he should come back to New York 1st

Well, if the rumors are true that there are at least 2 videos in the mix, then I doubt very seriously that he'll be "vacationing" for long. Promoting perhaps, interviews and whatever, is more like it.
Heck is he even scheduled to return to the US anytime soon, anyway? [Edited 9/23/07 0:06am]

If he tours America again, he needs to come to Jackson, Mississippi and not just somewhere like Memphis or New Orleans. Hell, his tickets are high enough, I can't afford to make another full fledged trip to see him.
He's only been here twice. Once in 1980 with Rick James and the other time in 1997 when someone screwed up and booked him twice in the same week in two cities in Louisiana. He dropped the smaller city and came here. Otherwise, he would have skipped us as usual. I don't know what his problem is. All the other groups used to come here every year. Hell, there's a big enough audience here. The city is 80% black. Andy is a four letter word.

The Musicology tour was a HUGE tour only because he played big arenas that could handle "round" stages. The O2 shows are considered "round" shows also. I'm sure it also has more to do with economics than anything. How many people in Jackson would be willing to pay $100 to see someone like him. In a "major" city like Houston, Dallas, NYC, LA, Chicago, etc., it's not uncommon to spend $100 or more per ticket for an arena show. Besides, you can always drive to Lousiana, Texas or Georgia to see the man. U r a fan aren't u? [Edited 9/23/07 11:41am] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
