Prince's Mainstream Carrer, thanks 2... i think that we all owe prince's 2004- now success 2 Beyonce, It wasnt until the grammy per4mance that a lot of people started remembering him and it brought him back in2 the spotlight. ONA, News, and Rainbow children didnt top charts. So from 2000-2003, people thought he went away and as soon as he cameback at the grammys (they called it a comeback). But truth is, he never went away but he released albums that were kinda crap, ONA (bad piano album), NEWS (JAZZ instrumentals) Rainbow Children (A JW cd) and 2 bad pop NPG only releases. So since his "Comeback" prince has released 3 albums, each on the top 10 list, had a sold out musicology tour and best tour of 2004, played in Vegas, and has performed on american idol, leno, ellen, BET, SNL, GMA, Rock and roll hall of fame. A lot more than wat he did between 2000-2003 ( i think he went on leno and sand "Everlasting Now. thats about it .

You know what I was thinking the same thing. Although I'm not sure the words dumb-dumb tree appeared in my thoughts...but they should have done! [Edited 9/26/07 4:28am] "I know that living with u baby, was sometimes hard...but I'm willing 2 give it another try.

What's a "Carrer?" We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Actually Prince was going to movie premiers and hollywood parties before he did the thing with Beyonce at the Grammy's. Also, Beyonce was simply relegated to being just another Prince girl at that performance. She was just the icing on the cake, the whole thing was much more about Prince and not as much Beyonce.
