Chances Prince would re-form a past backing band?

Since Prince is constantly changing the lineups of his band (retaining certain band members, acquiring new ones or letting go of some), I always held out hope Prince would re-unite with the original New Power Generation lineup of Michael B, Sonny T, Tommy Barberella, Morris Hayes and Levi augmented with the NPG Horns. That band to me from '94-'95 was a good mix of professionalism and solid improvisational jamming. I already accepted The Revolution is over. If the right circumstances made it possible what are the odds, it would happen?

I suppose Prince would decide on a New Power Revolution or not.

Hardly a chance at all.
Too many former band members had their tapes run over with his motorcycle.
