Welcome to the dawn VS Last december I always feel these two songs are kinda like 'twins'.
Both are trying to sound anthemic, both deal with the same kind of lyrical subject. Which one do you like the most? My choice would be: Welcome to the dawn. Its more playfull, less pretentious then the Last december, and i love the effect on his (background)vocals, especially at the end: Welcome to the daaaaawn..... Thank You. | |

I'm not very good at answering these comparison questions, because, I'd
start getting all psychological about it...Like... Does the song, "Play in the Sunshine," sound better in the rain? I even wrote a paper one time, about, "Lucy in the sky with diamonds..." The Beatles, vs. Dianne Steinberg...and the comparison between a male and female vocal.... I thought it could be a fun psychological study, on moods. I'd have to go with Last December. Welcome 2 The Dawn seems a little unrealized imo, like a really good song that's only 3/4 complete and would've been truly great. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
