The ladies will definitely get a kick out of this, but I got really curious of this myself last night.

You know how buff he looks during the Computer Blue/Darling Nikki scene in the movie? I know that he gets plenty of exercise doing his shows, but just looking at the muscle his upper body has. Looks like he has an exercise machine or at least weights stashed away in his studio to get THESE results



And I wonder if he's still maintained that muscle even today... he keeps his shirt on all the time now, so there's really no way of knowing unless you ask him urself.

I was wondering about this too, his upper body is so muscular and toned in most of the pics from the 80s-why doesnt he take his top off anymore I know Id sure as hell like to see it!!

I bet he's still in good shape, but if he started taking his top off now, people would only critisize him and call him a "medalion man" kinda thing I reckon.

I can see him doing yoga to keep fit....

Um true he could hardly go taking his top off at 50-wishful thinking I suppose!

Yup! I think he works out! He likely does it more for his health then looks...I mean if I was planning to tour and put on energetic shows as the basis for my income then it would be in my best interest to stay strong and fit. Who knows maybe he is solid muscle with zero body fat...the reason for his decrease in size over the last few years...solid muscle doesn't necessarily equal mass and size growth...just a thought.

I picture him doing something like Tai-Chi (not sure of spelling) or Yoga combined with some moderate weight training..

He did a video in a sleeveless top last year (Te Amo Corazon). His arms are nowhere near as cut as they were in his 20s.

Also, as men age, their testosterone levels drop. It does make a difference with respect to gaining/maintaining muscle.

People who say it doesn't are juicing -- or are in denial.

He ain't like he used to be (Who is?) , but he's toned. At least he ain't pulled an Elvis on us.

he may still work out... who knows... but i think some of his muscle tone has got to be cause he is so slender, aint no fat keeping those babies in!!!

I didn't read your piece and was writing that DreamyPopRoyalty had to look at the video of "Te amo corazon". Gladly I scrolled up in time.
For me his arms have never been more muscled before than in that video. I think he even trains more than ever because his hips are damaged. He has to keep fit.

I know he has lost a lot of his looks compared to 10-20 years ago but hey, he still looks good for his age and how will we look at 49! That's the only thing I'm in denial about, I hate it that he get's older. The older he gets, the less dance we get, the less looks and in time less to no concerts.

but not a lot and not with big weights as his goal is not bulking up. he probably takes care of what he eats more than anything.

hes never been a muscle man just skinny ripped with a nice shape.

Well I don't mind the idea of Prince taking his shirt off. Hell, I get flustered when I see that little forest on his chest peeking out the top of his shirts.
