That's hilarious! Its a bittersweet song, but I liked it in the midst of otherwise confusing "Rave" material (only heard the album once, so don't have much 2 really say about it) had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

When I listen to Prince I'm not expecting to hear poetry, just something that's easy to dance to. (And coming from the UK, I don't always understand his English anyway). It's a shame really because the only lyrics that stand out are the really bad ones. More cringeworthy efforts are:
