"No, I ain't dead yet, but uh.. what about U?"

With everything Prince has achieved over the years, everyone has their own ideas: the best musical period , the best style, band members, girlfriends, etc....
As time has gone on, and he's still performing (which he doesn't need to do) think about 2008 and about what you would like to see. I'd appreciate input that would encourage Prince to continue sharing his vast talent with the rest of us ? 2008, 2009 2010.....
(To all the critics, he could quit, retire, and buy an island.....)

Well Prince has done so much for so long and he really hasn't taken any time out for himself. So I guess after this London experience is over he really needs to just be Prince the man and enjoy his own personal life. He's given us plenty and I've enjoyed it all. I'm sure I'll go through some purple withdrawals at first but I'll make it through. Sure I'll miss him and so will many others but he needs rest and relaxation. I also hope he finds someone to share his life with, that truly loves him for himself not the "celebrity" aspect of all of it!

OK, proceed with casting your stones. lol

Oh our man definantly needs some down time. I doubt u can have much of a personal life with the scedule he seems to keep. I cant picture him taking too much of a rest because the music seems to be so deeply imbedded in his soul and his blood that he will always be creating, however I would like to see him take a much needed break be4 he graces us with yet another awsome CD. Maybe then he might tour Australia wink

I'd like to see Prince happy and healthy. ( maybe a family could be in the picture.)
Putting out an albume a year sounds good.
Collaborating with other musicians. Doing a duet with some superstar female, like Tina Turner.....
lol

I want all these things for him.
But as long as he's happy doing what he's doing, that's all I really ask 4.

pray Bless U, Prince. pray

He and MJ could do a duet! He could do something acoustic with Eric Clapton.....
Prince hasn't done any Country Western music. He and Dolly Parton would be great to see. That might sound ridiculous, but there's a lot to look forward to with the man. One can only speculate.....I see good things, for a long time, whatever he does. He's only 49. smile

Are you really thinking that through? He has difficulty coming up with enough ideas to fill one new album every year these days.

I'd actually like to see Prince not release a new album until he's really, really inspired to. If it takes two years, so be it. Five? So be it. Wait until you're inspired and feel like you absolutely must release it.

The more material the better. Plus, I like to listen to his musical mind as it creates. Even his average (by P standards) albums contain some brilliant songs. I love songs off The Truth, The Vault, NPS, C&D, and other albums that were quickly recorded and released.

I don't know how fans of mere mortals (Springsteen, MJ, U2, Sade) can deal with a new album, project and tour every 5 years.

Hmm... how about a new album and another that consists of tracks from the Vault? I'd quite like a new movie too - that'd be cool (as long as he leaves the JW crap out of it)

I'd love to see him back in the UK too, but I doubt very much that it'll happen so soon after the PE tour sad

This is all very selfish of me - so on his personal side I hope that he finds himself a good woman that can show him when he's being unreasonable and can that he can find happiness with.
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

C'mon and dance while you, while you still have your cherry babe, cherry babe..
