ok so i was watching one of my favorite movies tonight called "Batman (1989 with jack nicholson) anyway ive seen this movie a million times, but it was on this nite that i finally got it on dvd which means better sound. So anyway i was watching it and i noticed that the "Vicki Waiting" song that they were playing sounded a bit different, perhaps its a instrumental or longer version? and at the end when they run credits, they play a sord've different version of "scandalous", its edited but it has a different ending 2 it, it ends with "Scandalous" being the last word said in the song, which i think on the album, it fades away. Can anyone shed sum light on this

There is maxi-single release of 'Scandalous' called the 'Scandalous Sex Suite' you may want to check out. It has several versions of the single, plus another really cool song, 'Sex'. Worth checking out.

200 Balloons...b-side to Batdance was written for the movie but not used. I LOVE this tune (more than anything on the CD).

I also have a song called Dance with the Devil. A buddy of mine emailed it to me since he knows I am a Prince fan. Anyway, its a kick ass tune...really dark and cool. It wasn't used in the movie either but I can't figure out why. Its better than most that ended up on the soundtrack. I have no idea where my buddy got it, but try to find it if you can.

upon 1st seeing batman in 1989 i was sitting next 2 a speaker so i could hear the prince tunes. being its a movie and soundtracks usually tend 2 b mixed so low in the final mix, i noticed that vicki waiting did have a xtended solo. I haven't come across it any other way than in the movie.

batdance xists in a longer version as well. electric chair is also xtended.
