New Coffee Table Book - 21 nights in London PRINCE got severely screamed on by the locals while shooting photographs 4 a new coffee table book called 21 Nights in London. He was posing in front of a chauffeur-driven Mercedes whilst a CD of his August 28th aftershow played full blast in the alley. Neighbors were not 2 keen on the most raucous version of ALL SHOOK UP ever recorded and screamed obscenities at the singer. Prince and his whole camera crew cracked up laughing but mercifully turned the music WAYYY down 2 accommodate the enraged residents.
Randee St. Nicholas is directing the project and had approached her long lost friend and suggested he do a series of photos in and around London 2 memorialize this historic event. PRINCE has been injoying his stay in London and agreed 2 participate in making a scrapbook of this glorious summer 4 himself and his fans. We cant wait 2 c the results. Hopefully the disturbed neighbors will 4give them all when they c the pictures.

moderatorI seriously doubt we will see the live cd of the August 28th performance. More than likely Prince was just listening to his concert,it's probably for his personal use. I don't know a book just doesn't grab me that much, I'd much rather have his music than pictures of him. No matter how wonderful he looks! | |

Prince could (and, perhaps, should) include a live CD in the coffee table book, ensuring that all the Prince music-only fans (myself included) would buy the book, when we would normally only buy CDs and downloads.
This is something I think he missed out on with the Hawaii set - the set included the 1-track Controversy live CD, but he'd already put this up as a 99c download. He could easily have included a CD of an entire show and boosted sales. Personally, I'd love it if he included the CD he was listening to, since by all reports that show was spectacular. | |

I would LOVE another live cd. Considering his best release of the 00s was ONA, this is a great idea. His studio albums seem very bland anymore so this is a great way to bring life to the songs. Maybe I'll like them a bit more. Did you order a pizza ma'am? Prince- UTCM | |
