I mean, don't we all have personal umbrella carriers that go everywhere with us? Nope, he definitely acts like any other regular Joe!

I'd probably would be stuck signing so many contracts that my time would be up and Prince would just walk out the door smiling thinking to himself {Dumb broad} and I'm stuck in in the chair like "Where's he goin?" While most Prince fans know, it isn't his style to stop and sign autographs, it sure would be a nice gesture to acknowledge his fans. Does Prince act like a star? ...uhm...that would be a 'yes' He knows he's a star and acts accordingly. Let's just hope his star never falls,'cause one day he might be happy that somebody even wants his autograph or gathers in the rain to get a glimpse of him. love the one who is Love!

hmph, it's their own fault for not being daring or clever enough. Booing someone isn't going to make them go in your direction.

Could he have chosen the premiere to "blend" in with the other stars?...with other celebs there there just might be less focus on him and more security everywhere! In addition to that maybe he didn't want to steal Matt's thunder...could have had a hunch that Matt was going into the crowd to meet and greet, as he's the star of the movie after all!!
[Edited 8/16/07 10:19am] [Edited 8/16/07 10:20am] He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...

Could Prince's purple reign over London be at an end already?
The pint-sized pop star, who is doing 21-nights at the O2 Arena, was booed at the premiere of The Bourne Ultimatum on Wednesday. Fans outside The Odeon Leicester Square who'd braved a downpour hoping for a glimpse of his royal purpleness, were miffed when he was rushed straight inside. We hear: "Prince arrived at 7.31pm and was seated by 7.35pm. Fans were so disappointed. His arrival was announced over the Tannoy and they had been waiting in the rain to meet him for ages. Instead, he and one of his entourage who had an umbrella were rushed straight through." The rain didn't stop the film's star Matt Damon entertaining the crowd. He spent an hour and a half signing autographs and kissing female fans - even though he reckons at 36 he is too old to be a heart-throb. Matt said: "I've got more grey hairs than Brad Pitt. And what's wrong with that? We're not as young as we used to be. Fatherhood has changed us. No more late nights and hanging around Ronnie Scott's listening to jazz like we used to." Bourne to be mild, eh? MMM I Guess its blame Prince week, I mean no one asked people to stand their in the rain, or of course it was some disgruntled fans after whats been going on this week. But on a personal note theirs no way i would just go and stand in the rain for a chance of a glimpse. ONCE AGAIN..... U GUYS IN ENGLAND GETS 21 NIGHTS AND SOME AFTERSHOWS.. at the same time u want refunds because Prince doesn´t show up at the aftershows..... and now this shit..... wtf is going on ?????

honestly, everyone knows that he doesn't do crowds at big events. he always walks right through and gets in quickly. they're lucky that they caught a glimpse of him.
no offense to anyone, but they sound pathetic. and I'm usually a nice person, so I'm not saying that to be mean. "So shall it be written, so shall it be sung..."

Whenever these scum tabloids print crap like this mostly it's a lie and the only people booing were their own photographers who couldn't get a decent enough picture. Same thing happened to Madonna at the Revolver premiere - the press started saying the whole crowd booed her and later some stars unrelated to Madonna who were there came out the next week and said it was only the press.

Prince didn't even crack a smile or break stride 2 "Wave" 2 the fans at his own Purple Rain Movie Premiere. SO what do these people expect?! Prince just wants 2 do his thing without having 2 be 'Hollywood'.

Don't think us Brits don't completely appreciate this set of dates. We know it's a unique opportunity and we're delighted he's come to live in London for a couple of months. We're having a fantastic time and clearly so is he. Don't let one stupid article con you into thinking it's all gone sour here. The gigs are what matters, that's why he's here and they've been a riotous success. Prince loves London and London loves him right back! I agree.... he gets bad press here too.And no one really knows the difference if he is in the states or abroad. So how can you miss him. Thats just weird to say we miss him ....he is not that close to most people I know what she means in some way - strange as it sounds, you do feel closer to Prince right now if you live in London. He's only at the hotel round the corner, lol! It's just nice to know that you exist in the same city space as him and I'm sure those in Minneapolis would say the same. In the meantime, I'm grateful and lucky that I get to see him live whenever I want, at the moment, basically! That's how it feels. I could just pick up a ticket to see him tonight if I wanted to! I would to, if I wasn't going to Paris in the morning, lol. 4 gigs out of the 21 sounds a lot to most people but I want more!

If Prince would take time out and give back to his fans I think his fan base would be a lot larger. He has a huge following but we are the dedicated who have been here for years and we get treated like crap sometimes (who was at the 7-7-07 concert?). I don't really sweat things but I saw one couple leave b4 the concert started and they said "this is the last time." He does get on peoples nerves....Wouldn't it be nice to say hi and have him say hi back and maybe take a picture. I know he has problems dealing with being short, crowds, etc. but he always has Grape ape next to him... Prime aka The Kid

That was MJ Prince has NEVER done anything like that, people say he can be an ass at times sure but i dont think he would stoop that low But it's true. He did this in 2003 when he toured australia. You had to pay 995.00 $ for the concert + the meet & greet. Here's the proof : http://www.housequake.com...eadid=8457 http://www.housequake.com...eadid=8494 http://www.housequake.com...eadid=9884
