I hate to say it, but the main reason Im not going to see Prince on this current uk tour is that I dont want to. I dont want to see that, I want to see Prince. Its begun to dawn on me lately that hes not the same person he was when I first got into his music.

Anyone else getting this vibe ?

Maybe I built him up too much as Ive never seen him live but I didnt want to go to the tour. Dont know why & was trying to find others who felt the same.

Just always wanted to see him live but when I heard some recordings, it was good & all but not 'Prince' good. Maybe it is just me but I feel myself losing faith in him & his music everyday.

To Cloud9, what more do you want from Prince? I could be wrong but it seems like you can't separate the man and his actions from the man and his music. I don't like a lot of his choices but it won't stop me from being a fan or seeing him perform. I tell you, once you see him live, all anger and any bitterness towards Prince dies because you'll remember why you became a fan in the first place when you see him. Its a good tour but not worth the price of the club + the high ticket prices for supposed members only seats.

Get the regular general public seating and save yourself a couple hundred bucks.

The venues are so damn small, even last row is a good seat.

He was in birmingham & that was the closest he got to me on the tour. Is it really that good then??
