Louis Walsh

Pop superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE will never be as successful as PRINCE because he is white, according to music mogul LOUIS WALSH. Walsh, who has guided the careers of British pop acts Westlife, Boyzone and Samantha Mumba, criticised Timberlake for his stage flamboyance after attending the Irish leg of his European tour last month (Jul07). He says, "I went to see Justin in Dublin and he thinks he is Prince. He's playing keyboards, guitar and rapping - hello, you're white!"

Louis is simply scum, he plays on this nice loveable uncle type personality BUT he is nothing more than a cynical money maker. He thrives on formulae music, pretty boys on stools singing ballads wearing co-ordinated clothes. Grrrr this pisses me off soooo much.
God forbid that I would want to defend JT but the boy does have a great voice, can dance well and at least picking up an instrument deserves props.

I agree with louis walsh about the part where JT is no Prince, but to say he wouldnt be cause he's white is irrelevent. If you can do the stuff prince has been doing for the past 30 years for example playing numourus instruments, producing his own music etc, then maybe you would qualify and anyone can pick up a instrument its playing it whats count.

There are some people in this world who's very presence just begs for an ass kicking. This fool is without doubt the most hideous thing I've ever seen on TV. A dumb and ignorant huckster who knows nothing about music. His success came from knowing there were many other dumb and ignorant people out there who like to be forcefed recycled, low grade pap, not knowing that it's recycled, low grade pap. He had no qualms about serving up the dogshit for them. Those who've never heard Boyzone and Westlife should count themselves most fortunate. This man should be selling groceries for a living, not passing comment on an artform he doesn't understand.

I haven't watched X Factor in a while, but I noticed some strong racial undertones in his comments in the past and the different standards he seemed to employ based on colour. Noone ever said anything of course, but combined with his monumental stupidity and sinister antimusic agenda, he was just begging for some of this... machinegun

He will never be as succesful as Prince because he sucks, his music is boring and formulaic, he does not produce his own music, he can not dance, his falsetto is weak as hell, he is unoriginal and he doesn't know shit about funk. without production from folks like pharell and timbaland, where would he be? what can he do that hasnt been done before? If, after this album he turns around and does something unaccessible because that's what he wants to do, like P did after Purple Rain, I'd be surprised. He is an money-making industry puppet getting his strings pulled at every turn. Nothing more, nothing less.
